Construction Update

Our diligent crew of builders continue to dig 70 feet into the ground to install the septic tank system; 60% of this stage of construction was completed.

Today, in spite of the very heavy snow, our dedicated contractors and workers continued to dig 20 pools (ouot of 160) and continued to install the septic system.

This past month, we have cleared the property of all trees and graded it.

Next Stage: We begin now to install the septic system and we will dig 26 locations for the installation of the septic rings.

Anyone who has  driven past 400 East Shore Road, the Chabad property, in the last several weeks knows there's lot of activity going on outside.
 
Finally after 12 years of permit negotiations Chabad has obtained its building permit.  (Is there any other institution in Great Neck that has waited so long to get the "green light" from its residing Village?)
 
Thank G-d, our patience and diligence has paid off for through the efforts of a very dedicated committee, Chabad has peacefully completed all negotiations, the building permit hangs proudly in our current synagogue and the tractors are here working!!
